本来なら、８月に尾張旭市内の中学生がオーストラリアへ中学生海外研修事業として参加しているところですが、残念ながら新型コロナウイルス感染拡大のため中止となりました。
オーストラリアの感染は、一時期に比べ大幅に減少し、ほとんど新規感染者の発生がなくなったと聞きます。
しかし、逆に日本に第３波の感染が来ています。こんな状況の中、本校の１年生がなんとか「心のケアの架け橋」ができないものかと、クリスマスグリーティングカード作りに取り組みました。完成したということで、ALTマイケル先生の指導の下、Lian Vavies 校長先生へ以下のクリスマスメッセージをメールで送り、カードを郵送します。かわいらしいカードがたくさんできました。

we are experiencing from this pandemic, the light of
the Christmas spirit burns bright in our hearts.

Nishi Junior High School of Owariasahi City.
The 7th graders are currently learning about useful
English expressions as they are used in greeting cards.
They have made Christmas cards for WSC’s students
